Preparation

Most often, I make a basic Tiramisu and another spiced version.  Both are no-bake just the way I like it.  You could certainly try one or the other. To me, the most important ingredient which makes or break this dessert is the quality of coffee and cream used. So, I never compromise on those and neither should you!

METHOD

Step 1. Dissolve the Instant coffee in warm water and set aside. This will be used to drench the biscuits as you prepare them layer by layer typical of how this dessert is prepared.

Step 2. Mix the Tiramisu cream and that one sachet of RUF Vanilla dessert in a mixing bowl. Follow instructions by combining with the volume of water indicated on both the packets so as to make the cream.

Step 3. To fix all the elements together, just layer accordingly. Lay one layer of biscuits, drench with coffee and then put a layer of cream. On top of this put another layer of biscuits and repeat process until all is done.  The last layer should be cream on which you then sprinkle a thick layer of that chocolate powder.

Step 4. Cover and leave to set in the fridge to be enjoyed best the day after.
